Happy to Help,

Whatever You Need

Hi, I’m Kita Moses.

My journey has been one of resilience, faith, and an unwavering determination to serve others. Life has thrown its share of challenges my way, but each trial has shaped me into the person I am today—someone deeply committed to helping others thrive. Believe it or not, my journey into real estate was sparked by my battle with cancer. Facing stage 3B inflammatory breast cancer taught me how to embrace a “thrive-not-survive” mindset, and it’s that same mindset that’s driven me to succeed. In 2024, I was honored to be named one of the top producers at John Jones Real Estate, having tripled my sales from the year before!

When I entered the real estate market post-COVID, I had just finished fighting cancer and was ready to reinvent myself after 22 years in the medical billing industry. Even during my treatment, I made a promise to myself to show up with a smile and make the road ahead as positive as possible—not just for me, but for those around me. I discovered a deep love for connecting with people through heartfelt conversations in hospital waiting rooms, and that’s when I realized how much I genuinely enjoy building relationships and helping others.

In real estate, my clients always come first. Their needs, dreams, and goals are my top priorities. Anyone who gives me the privilege of earning their business isn’t just getting a transaction—they’re gaining a lifelong friend and advocate. I work tirelessly to provide five-star service, ensuring my clients feel empowered and informed throughout the process of buying or selling a home. For me, it’s not about giving advice; it’s about being a trusted advisor. Every situation is unique, and I believe the best way to serve is by listening intently and asking the right questions before offering solutions.

Beyond real estate, my husband Shawn and I own four barbershops and salons here in Murfreesboro: Blackman Barbershop, Blue Raider Barber and Beauty Salon, Stars Barbershop, and University Barber and Beauty Salon. We’ve been married for 20 years and have three amazing sons—Jermaine, Jordon, and Joshua—a wonderful daughter-in-love, Katelyn, and the sweetest granddaughter in the world, Natalie.

Shawn is the pastor of True Victory Outreach Church, and together, we’re passionate about community outreach. In 2023, we were humbled to receive honorary doctorates of Humanities from the School of the Great Commission Theological Seminary, and I was honored with the Jerry Anderson Humanitarian Award from the Murfreesboro Branch of the NAACP. One of the most meaningful roles I have is serving as a character coach for the Smyrna Bulldogs’ basketball and softball teams through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Spending time with “my girls” every Monday morning fills my heart with joy. Telling you this not to toot my own horn, but to push the point: I really am happy to help, whatever you need. Shawn and I aren’t driven by titles and awards, we are grateful for any opportunity to make a difference.

At the end of the day, I see myself as an entrepreneur in the business of serving people. Whether I’m helping someone find their dream home or simply lending a listening ear, my goal is to make every interaction count. Life has taught me that challenges don’t define us—our response to them does. And I’m here to help others navigate their journeys with grace and determination.
